Advanced, brilliant, precise - the new clutch piston for Ducati by TSS
The clutch piston for Ducati TSS has a new design with large diameter, which allows to reduce the effort to lever up to 25%. Several details that put this component a step above the competition:
Machined from billet with CNC machines from 7075, finished with anodized which makes the surface hard and smooth reducing friction on all moving parts.
The plunger is maintained by internal spring preload.
Two O-rings on the piston in the cylinder helps to stabilize it, eliminating the metal-metal contact and increasing the duration of life of the component, as well as improving the seal.
The cap is removably mounted on the cylinder, and is sealed with an O-ring on the engine crankcase. No dust or dirt on the rod, or leakage of oil through the O-ring of the auction.
Available in hard anodized black, with variants of red, gold, blue and silver in preparation.
Designed for Ducati engines with hydraulic clutch actuator from 2001 onwards. For older models with piston positioned on the left side of the crankcase (engine with 4-valve and 2-valve 900cc from 1991 onwards) an additional spacer (supplied in kit) allows installation even in this short rod on these models.
