Athena Conrod Kits include connecting rod, roller cage (s) and big end pin. The off road kits, depending on the applications, may also include the small end cage and the shims.
The connecting rod is one of the fundamental components found in the heart of every motorcycle engine: by connecting the piston to the crank pin of the crankshaft, it must withstand high traction, compression and bending stresses to allow correct and efficient transmission of the motorcycle.
Athena includes high quality connecting rods in its range of motorcycle spare parts, specifically designed for the off-road world. Made with materials similar to the original component to ensure the same level of performance, Athena connecting rods are light, resistant and able to reduce the rotating and alternating masses. The processing to which they are subjected in fact allows to obtain an optimal incidence-weight ratio and greater resistance to stresses at a truly competitive price.
