This pump has the purpose of increasing the recirculation of the coolant within the circuit by 46%.
With the original pump, below 4,700 rpm, the recirculation has a very low speed due to the excessive gap between the impeller and the pump cover, so it is very inconvenient in terms of performance and comfort for those who use their MV every day or for Sunday rides.
