The FI Cleaner tool is compatible with a wide range of current Euro 4 motorcycles (as of 2017, depending on make/model). The engine management system monitors the various sensors on the motorcycle. Whenever a fault occurs in the system, the FI light turns on and remains on even if the fault condition no longer exists, e.g. a loose connector has been reconnected. It takes several full cycles and a lot of time to clear the error without an OBD tool. This is where the FIC tool proves to be very useful for workshops - it saves a lot of time whenever working on a motorcycle.
Note: The FIC tool will not clear the FI light if the error is still active. However, it will fix it in seconds if the problem is resolved. The FIC tool will not erase the error history (stored errors) from the ECU, so you can still fix recurring problems later.
