Carburetor Keihin PWK 36mm

Keihin carburetors of the PWK family have the particularity of a gas valve with a semi-elliptical section, designed to improve the air flow at each opening.
The chromed valve has less wear than normal ones and the particular D shape favors the concentrated turbulence of the air towards the conical needle and the atomizer.
The PWK gives even more revs at high speed and offers a fantastic fullness of delivery and a stable carburetion.

The first quarter of opening is extremely fast.
At half throttle the very customizable carburetion can help to control difficult delivery both on extremely hard and slippery surfaces, and where great torque and traction are needed.

At maximum opening the PWK certainly gives the maximum possible for a mechanical fuel system, with its perfect vaporization of the mixture and practically no loss from back waves.
PWKs, although less performing than the new PWMs, are still used today in different versions for both cross and enduro, and can be widely customized in calibration for the most diverse needs.
